VWO Remnant Youth Pioneer Boot Camp

We were the lucky group that got to sleep in a little bit tonight and didn't have to leave until 9 a.m. This was to our advantage because we were all actually awake during our trip. Some of us were nervous but all of us were excited and ready to work. Our group is ready to minister with testimonies, skits, sermons, offerings, and great ideas already written and ready to go. I am very proud of our group and the people that we have and I know that God will use us mightily.

By the time we took lunch we had already had a blast. Donnie turned the wrong way on the Interstate during construction, Josh ate a whole box of fruit snacks in under 2 minutes, I hit a grand slam over the green monster (PSP style just for you Jake), we found out that Tiffany used to gossip, Nick likes to quote bible verses about woman keeping quiet, played on a playground, met cowboy Santa clause, and got a little dance from Josh when traffic was stopped for twenty minutes. Tonight we already met with Pastor Kyle and Whitney, played chicken in the pool, had a cannonball contest, and told our best Yo Momma jokes. Josh's pride and joy is "Yo momma so fat she doesn't even fit in this joke" which he made himself.

Tomorrow we wake up at 5 and it's time to work. I can't wait to see what God has for us and the fun we will have along the way. We would like to thank all of the parents who allowed their youth to join us and for the Chavez family for a great lunch. Keep it tuned to this blog and see what God will do in these kids lives.
