Arrested Repost
A repost of the classic incident and phone call involving Tim Watkins for all those who missed it the first time. Thanks for being a good sport Ms. Debbie. A special thanks to Tim's dad (Rick) for being an accomplice. Go Team Heat

There are many silent partners involved with PBC; those babysitting, those who entrusted their youth in our care, pastor Jones and staff for getting behind this wonderful idea, those who assisted in preparations (vans, finances, etc.). And it brings Gail n I much joy to be able to come home and express our thanks to everyone, it's been a blessing-oh such a blessing-to have headed this up.
THANK YOU, WE LOVE YOU!
-JB-
Postscript: more testimonies, pix, vids, posts on the way, stayed tuned..............
My my my....! Gail n I have arrived home, Regan, Brenna, n Ezra can't get words out fast enough telling us about there time with their grandma, BKA Mema. We are so grateful for her taking our babies and making our time away possible, easier, and keeping what sanity we were left with intact knowing they were in good hands. We love you Mema!
Every End Is A New Beginning
This will most likely be my last blog for Pioneer Bootcamp and I would just like to say thank you to everyone. To JB and Gail for giving this opportunity to represent you both and Remnant Youth in the best way that we know how. I appreciate you both putting faith in me. To every pastor that got on board with this experiment and gave up your time, your church, your money, and your hospitality to a bunch of youth that just want to be used for God's purposes. To our home church and all of our pastors, especially Pastor Jones and Marie, for giving us the opportunity to represent the church, the vision, and the fellowship, I hope we all did you proud. To the parents of every teen that went, we thank you for giving them the freedom and the confidence to be able to find who they are in God by serving him and for your support financially, time-wise, and especially with your prayer, we couldn't have done it without you backing us up and I appreciate all of your comments on all of the blogs. A special thanks to Pastor Kyle and Whitney Bland for opening their hearts and their church to us and showing us that it can be done even as a young couple as long as you entrust everything to God. I know that God will bless you for what you have done in our lives and how you have inspired us in more ways than you know just by being yourselves. Also a special thanks to Pastor Bland and the Cortez church for helping us throughout the week. We appreciate your support and we know that Pastor and Whitney couldn't do it without you.
To the youth that have been on this adventure and to the ones that will be affected by the passion that God is bringing back in those youth. All I want to say is that it isn't over, it is just the beginning of great things that God has for us. On Wednesday night Pastor Kyle preached on dominion and spoke out of Joshua chapter 10. The story talks about how Joshua commanded the sun to stand still so that he could finish the battle. God had already helped Joshua by raining stones down from heaven to defeat the armies and Joshua could have let up and still won the battle but he commanded the sun to stand still so that he could completely wipe out the armies. We just went through a week where God moved powerfully in our lives and in the pioneer works we were sent to and we could take the victory and move on and be just fine or we could command the sun to stand still and make sure we fight this battle until the strategies of the devil are utterly destroyed. We must continue to fight and pray for those pastors, their families, and their churches until the devil is defeated. We have won the battle but we must continue to fight to get true dominion. I am proud of all of the youth and I can't wait to see what God does in our lives.

WOW!
How can I describe what an awesome weekend we had? On Saturday, Team Heat worked long after the sun went down in Texas. And on Sunday, we rose just after the sun came up. Praise God for making it fruitful; over 25 were saved!
3rd Time
This was at our second outreach in a park and the 3rd time Team Heat performed the "Everything" skit. Alainna has many battle scars!
I Know, I've Been Slacking
We are about to leave for breakfast here... I haven't written since Friday because I didn't have time on Saturday and yesterday the Internet was down. I was happy to be getting home earlier, but now I'm a little sad to be leaving Farmington. God did amazing things and I'm sure He will continue to move long after we are home. Outreach was great, as well as the concert, BBQ, and all of the services. We're about to go to breakfast with Pastor Kyle. He is a great pastor and I am so happy I got to come here and meet him.
Saturday was awesome. We had a BBQ and lots of people showed up. Service that night was good. I helped in the nursery with Kristin and Tiffany. On Sunday morning, Nic played the drums for praise team and I sang. We did the skits "Out on a Ledge" and "Free Gift." Pastor Marshall preached on "The Longing for Significance." We went to Fuddrucker's for lunch (Pastor Marshall called it "The bad word place :P) and tried to relax later. We went back to the church at 3:30 for a question/answer meeting with Pastor Kyle. It was nice to get advice about pioneering, because I hope to be a pastor's wife when I grow up. Service was good. I sang again, we did "Out in a Ledge" again because Pastor Kyle liked it so much, and the "Everything" skit, and Pastor Marshall preached on "Finishing Well".
That's all I got for now, so just be patient and maybe I'll write again later:)
See ya soon Colorado Springs.

we out
Well we are ready to head out. What an awesome experience and it truly gets Donny and I stirred up. I know this is where Donny and I should have been this week. We fellowshipped with people we probably would have not ever gotten to know especially the youth. These teens are amazing and what an honor it has been to serve with them. All these teens have a hunger to see Gods will done in their lives and others. Brian has been a blessing to us and has helped so much. I never even knew Brian and now Donny and I see what we have been missing out on. What a funny guy!!!!! Farmington will always hold a special place in my heart. Pastor Kyle and Whitney have been so wonderful and I thank them for putting up with us for a week. They inspire Donny and I more than they will ever know. Thank you to the whole Bland family for welcoming us and making us apart of their day to day lives. Teens you are an inspiration to us, your strength, your visions and your laughter. I would be blessed for my children to strive to have half the passion you have and I love each and everyone of you. Thank you parents for raising great kids who will majke it for God. Thanks JB and Gail. Love you all and thank you for all your prayers and hard work. It truly payed off and I know we will continue to see fruit. Tiffany
where to begin,
what a week. I wasnt ready for what God was going to do in farmington, and in our lives. Tiff and I are so grateful that we had this opportunity to be here. Yesterday was amazing. Morning service was good, and nite service was very powerful. the church was packed. I am blown away with these kids. they inspire me to have a better attitude and to do more for God. All week they labored, outreached in the heat, cleaned the church got up early every morning for prayer. they really worked, and I still havnt heard one complaint. Every thing they did was with joy. You parents should be proud I know I am. I know Pastor Kyle will continually see fruit after we are gone. Words cant express my feelings for this opportunity and for these kids. Thank you JB and Gail, and thank you Pastor Kyle and Whitey for welcoming us with open arms and the massive amount of love and Respect we received while we were here. Thanks Cortez church, you guys are awsome, we will see you at confrence

On the Road Again...
I wish this van full of teens would go to sleep! This is one time our "no sleeping" rule is not in effect and what are they doing? being their crazy selves at 6am! Fun on the road...singing, dancing, shouting, pillow fights, laughing...oh my, now they're all singing to HSM...mostly just Tim...here we come Colorado Springs, are you ready for us?
A little bit of Texas!
We had to take a little bit of Texas with us. Goodbye Super 8...you've been a nice home-away-from-home.
Final Farewell.....
Amazing...Is putting it lightly. What a week. We are anxious to get home to our kids, but sad to leave a great church. Pastor Kirk and Vania welcomed us with open arms. We have the utmost respect for those who labor in the fields. No one could have prepared us for what we got to be apart of even though it was only 6 days. We were able to experience a little taste of it. Pioneer Boot Camp was well named. We are so PROUD of the teens that you entrusted us with, Stephen, Gloria, Rachel, Jeremy, Turray and Alexis we loved making memories with each of you, sweating bullets with you, getting chased by security guards and witnessing your first alter calls, song service leading, first time giving your testimonies, seeing you reach out to this community, climbing stairs to countless apartments and all the while doing it with a smile and usually a laugh. Shyy-you are more of a blessing then you will ever know, you are one of the best, thank you for helping us lead this team, literally into the frying pan. Our prayer is that each of you are different from the day that we drove into this city. I know that we are. Be open to what God has planned for you.
Pastor Kirk and Vania, thank you for having us, for your work and faithfulness here in Phoenix. We are grateful to be apart of it. Thank you, JB and Gail.

The Final Hours. : (
As i write this there are less than 7 hours left in Farmington NM and it's really sad to be saying goodbye to this experience. I know that we have all learned and grown from this but it's always sad when it ends. Today we had church just like in the Springs. We even had one of our usual pastors with us. Pastor Marshall preached two great services and we had 81 people come out tonight. Definitely an upgrade from the 21 people we had Wednesday night. We had great services and every one of the youth got involved in the services. We did all the skits we had and of course the everything skit one more time during evening service. During morning service Josh did the offering, Richard gave his testimony, Natalie sang, and Nic played the drums. In the evening service Kristen gave her testimony, Natalie sang, and Evan did the offering. It was amazing to see all of our youth get involved and I am most proud of Evan because he really stepped it up this week.
Inbetween services we went to the now famous Fuddruckers for lunch with Pastor Kyle and Pastor Marshall. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be but everyone else seemed to love it. We then went back to hotel where we played football in the pool and I showed these kids how to score a touchdown with four people trying to bring me down. We went back to the church early to have a Q & A with Pastor Kyle on pioneering and the things he said really made me think and calmed my spirit about things. It's great to see someone you have known for more than ten years and is your age do something that takes that much guts. It inspires you and let's you know that you can do it too. In the service we did the everything skit one more time and we really got into it. Pastor Marshall said it was the best he had seen that skit done and all the kids were very proud of themselves. Again we prayed for the sick and two people had their legs grow out and 2 people got saved. There were 3 people that came out to all three revival services and we know that they are going to stick. Afterwards Pastor Kyle and Pastor Bland prayed for our group before we left and we all felt a sense of destiny and accomplishment and are ready to go back home.
After service we went to work like it was our home church and took out trash, swept, mopped, rearranged chairs and made sure that Pastor Kyle and Whitney didn't have to do anything. We then went out to a steakhouse because we had all saved money at everyone of our meals so that we could afford steak on sunday, but I was the only one that got actual steak. Booo. We had a great time of fellowship with Pastor Kyle, Pastor Marshall, and Pastor Bland. We are excited to see what God has in store for us now and I have no doubt that God has changed everyone of us. I am so proud of these youth and how they have grown and labored. It makes me proud to be a youth leader and to be a part of their lives. All in all the week couldn't have gone any better and we praise God for that.
P.S. Keep it posted. We may be behind but we do have more video posts and blog posts coming tomorrow.

To all the Farmington Fanatic Followers!
Again I apologize for still being two days behind but we have been uber-busy and when we are at the hotel, their internet doesn't work. I think I may buy an iphone as soon as I get back. I am so excited for what God has done this week in my life and in the lives of the youth that are with me. To catch you up I will tell of our day Saturday.
Saturday was outreach day and we got to sleep in a little until 7:30. It's rough but it makes it all worth it when God moves. We headed to the church and stopped by starbucks for the fifth time this week on the way. We packed up and went to a nearby park for a BBQ. We all made a sign and Pastor Kyle did the grilling. The youth went to the intersection with their signs to try and draw people in and Nic danced literally all day. We had over 150 people come by but people in Farmington don't stick around, they just come, eat, and then leave which is different from the springs but we had a great turnout. It was a great turnout and we got alot of fliers out. We played B-ball, ate burgers, and of course I played with Morgan. :) After the BBQ we had a few hours to kill so we decided to all ride a mechanical bull across the street, and when I say all I mean the guys because the girls chickened out. We then went back to the hotel for an hour of downtime before heading back to church at 4 for the revival service with Pastor Marshall. We arrived early because Donnie and Nic were going to practice the drums so they could play in upcoming services and Natalie went to sing. We were all dressed in our shirts and ties and ready for church when Pastor Kyle said he wanted us to do the everything skit again that night. Of course we said yes right away not knowing that we didn't have Natalie's dress, the music, kristen's shirt, or a knife and at the same time Nic broke Pastor's drumsticks so we had 45 min. and alot to do. We managed to get it all done. Church was great. Jacob did the offering, I told my testimony, Donny played the drums, and the rest of us helped as ushers. We prayed for the sick and two people gave their lives to Jesus. After service we all went out to eat and then back to the hotel for a good night's rest.

Our Final "Hellos"!
Today was a fantastic final day! We all woke up exhausted when service came we were all pumped! At least 4 people that I saw came from the outreaches to the services and I am pretty sure some brought family also to the evening service! Pastor Blake was really excited that we had brought in more youth from the outreaches! God really moved! People got saved! And we had great fellowship!
I am so grateful for this experience! I don't think there is any way it could have been better!

sorry for all the exclamation points, i am quite happy! :0)

The Bigger Picture
Tonight was our final service here in Mesa with our Mesa family. Pastor Gould preached a great sermon on Decisions and how they affect your destiny. Before altar call, our team performed the everything skit. Hearts were tender and open to God and we had an awesome altar call. The atmosphere in the service was very annointed and it "sealed" what God has done in us and the church during this week. We have become a team in every sense of the word amongst our teens and with the Mesa church. We would like to take this opportunity to, first off, thank God for what a quality time this has been. And we would also like to thank the Gould's and the Mesa church for treating us so well and joining us as we hit the ground running since we got here (the very, very hot ground). I have enjoyed being here and will never forget what it has done in me personally. -MP
I would like to take this opportunity to say how proud I am of the MESA team....Joel, Taylor T., Taylor L., Trent, Daniel, David, and Brooke. They all stepped it up this week and made the most of this opportunity. This week has encouraged me in the sense that i got to see these teens see "The Bigger Picture" and that what we do is bigger than any one person. I pray that they will never forget the lessons that they learned. Thank you JB & Gail, Pastor Gould & Denise, & the MESA church. This has been an adventure of a lifetime.
-C.P.
The other two pictures are a shining example of how guys can make ANYTHING competitive. This "sport" consisted of running up and down the street using crutches. The winner is who could do it in the fastest time Surprisingly enough, Daniel still whooped up on all them.
Team Caliente is signing off. See you in C.S.!!!!!
Go rockets!
fun!
