Movie Screens Built and Bowling Strikes Fulfilled
The Latest and Greatest!
That is all the things I learned before our outreach on Thursday night where 7 people got saved and I prayed with a guy for salvation that God really touched and it made me remember how much I love to serve God and take it to the devil. The teens did the everything skit for the first time and it was powerful. It's great to see the reaction of people seeing that skit for the first time. Even Pastor Bland said he cried during the skit even though no one can confirm it. I know that God is going to give us real fruit from these outreaches. Most of the people that came and got saved came because they GOT A FLIER, which was amazing to us and made all that outreaching worth it. One of the ladies that got saved said she prayed that God would lead her and that day she came out of Wal-Mart and there was a flier for our concert on her car, AWESOME! After the outreach we tried to go through the McDonalds drive-thru with a vanload and that is always a bad idea. Then we came back to the hotel and introduced UB, King Dirty, and Boxer Shoits. Oh, you'll see.
Let's continue doing what we can do and God will do what he can do!

The Funnest Fun Day
For the evening we travelled to Cortez for church service. Pastor Bland's church did song service and we did the "Everything" skit again, this time pummeling Kristin and Josh. This sounds wrong, but it was so funny beating up those two. Pastor Bland preached a short sermon about putting yourself in a place of need when you want to be used by God. After service, we went to Dairy Queen with the Cortez church. We finally got back at 10:30.
Goodnight!

SPF 45 has failed Team Caliente
What you have here is a picture of us (Joel and Chad) building our amazing movie screen for our movie outreach. Hopefully, the next time you look, we will have it all finished. Today we have been preparing for our outreach. Soon we will go pass out flyers and withness and give the devil some more black eyes (see picture above). And the last picture is abstract art from one of our team members (guess who). Thank you Jesus for the opportunity to be out here. For such a time as this...
HOOOOOOOOOOO Are You?!

Good afternoon all! We are cranking along over here in the northwest part of Phoenix. We have already been out in the neighborhoods passing flyers and tracks out. Aaron prayed with an older man, YESS!! Even at 90 degrees it is muggy. We plan o get more flyers printed and we will go back out later. We headed back to the church and practiced our set and skits for tomorrow. We are excited. My room is finally quiet so I'm getting to bed. Pioneer Boot Camp, thus far, is proving a more influencial event than, I feel, anyone anticipated. God never fails, we are fortunate for that.
Lala salama.

Thursday...

Barbie- Needed some rest, you know beauty sleep and all. so thought I would fill you in on our happenings in Phoenix with Pastor Kirk and Vania. We started the morning off with prayer and hitting a bunch of apartments complexes. We knocked on doors and talked to people about our outreach on Saturday. Our first sentence after HOLA OR HELLO is usually Habla espanol or ingelase (sorry can't spell in espanol either). After about 4 hours in the blazing sun and no I am not exaggerating it was blazing. Our fearless leader (Tony) kept asking for 10 more minutes. Our faces were as bright as tomatoes, well mine, Short Bus, Molasses, The Good One, and (I am still working on Stephens nickname had to change it after today) was red. Hyena, Singsperation, and Old Man. They just looked like (to use the words of Des Williams) a HOT MESS okay okay we were all a hot mess. We were able to stop right before lunch.
We needed our strength for paint ball. To be honest I was not going to play after our orientation, it was scary. But I sucked it up and went and played and actually loved it. I really think the entire team loved it. But we did have some injuries, Tony got shot and was walking off the playing field and got hit in the back side, his re-enactment was priceless, Rachel was hit by a pro-paint baller, in the neck and yes Sharon it left a mark. Oh and one more but you will have to ask Tony and Alexis about it. After paintball we headed back to the hotel to clean up and to get ready for church.
Stephen lead songs and took an offering. Stephen did great watch the video and Tony preached to the youth about Decisions Determine your Destiny. We really had a great time and many of Pastor Kirks teens answered the alter call. Again another productive day. We ended the day with dinner with Pastor Kirk and Vania, fellowship, food, and fun..
